CHOOSING YOUR KEYBOARD
How do I choose the right keyboard for me?
Start with how you want it to feel and sound, not the spec sheet. Pick your sound (creamy, thocky, or clacky), your size (from full-size down to compact), and your keycap profile — and let the rest follow. Our shop is organised exactly this way, so you can browse by what matters to you.
What do "creamy," "thocky," and "clacky" mean?
They describe how a keyboard sounds and feels as you type. Creamy is smooth and muted — soft and cushioned, no sharp edges. Thocky is deep and full, with a satisfying low-pitched "thock." Clacky is crisp and bright, with a sharper, snappier sound. There's no right answer — just your answer.
What's the difference between full-size, 98%, TKL, 75%, and 65%?
It's all about which keys are included and how compact the board is. Full-size (100%) has everything, including the number pad. 98%/1800 keeps the number pad but tucks everything closer together. TKL drops the number pad for a tidier footprint. 75% is compact but keeps your function row and arrows. 65% is the smallest, keeping arrows but losing the function row — ideal for small or minimalist desks.
What's a keycap profile — and what's the difference between Cloud-Touch and Classic?
The profile is the shape and height of the keycaps under your fingers. Cloud-Touch (MOA/MA) keycaps are taller and gently rounded for a soft, comfy landing. Classic (Cherry) keycaps sit lower and are sculpted for a familiar, precise feel. Both are lovely — it comes down to the touch you prefer.
I'm new to mechanical keyboards — are they hard to use?
Not at all. Plug it in (or pair it), and you're typing. Everything else — the sound, the feel, the look — is just the fun part. If you're unsure where to begin, browse by sound or size and pick the one that makes you smile.
THE KEYBOARDS THEMSELVES
Are your keyboards wired or wireless?
It varies by model — each product page tells you exactly how that keyboard connects (wired USB-C, wireless, or both) along with its full specs.
Do they work with both Windows and Mac?
Most mechanical keyboards work with both. On a Mac you may occasionally want to remap a key or two, which takes a moment. Check the individual product page for compatibility notes.
Are they good for gaming as well as typing?
Yes — they're a joy for everyday typing, work, and play alike. If you're after a specific feature for gaming, the product page lists each board's details
How loud are they? Will they annoy my coworkers?
It depends on the sound profile. Creamy boards are the most muted and office-friendly; clacky boards are the most expressive. If quiet matters, lean creamy.
Can I change the keycaps or switches?
Some boards allow it — where a keyboard is hot-swappable or has removable keycaps, we'll say so on its product page.
What's included in the box?
Your keyboard, its cable or wireless receiver where applicable, and any keycap-pulling or basic tools that come with it. Some keyboards also come with a few alternate keys, in case you want to change your vibe. Specifics are listed on each product page
