Welcome to Lace & Keys. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the laceandkeys.com website (the "Site") and your purchase of any products from us. Please read them carefully. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Lace & Keys is operated by Zulu Eden Pty Ltd ("Lace & Keys", "we", "us", "our"), part of Zulu Eden, registered in South Africa 2024/163312/07, with its registered address at 959 Inchanga Road, Needwood, Randburg, Gauteng 2191, South Africa.

You can reach us any time at store@laceandkeys.com, and we'll respond within 15 hours.

2. Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence), or that you are using the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Your account

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may not use another person's account without permission.

4. Products, descriptions & availability

We work hard to display our keyboards accurately, but we can't guarantee that your screen shows colours and details exactly as they appear in person. Product descriptions, specifications, and availability may change without notice, and we may limit quantities, discontinue products, or decline orders at our discretion. All products are subject to availability.

5. Pricing, currency & taxes

Prices are listed in US dollars (our base currency) and shown to you in your local currency (USD, CAD, AUD, or GBP) based on your location. Prices may change at any time before you place an order.

While we take care to price accurately, errors can occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you've ordered, we'll let you know and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

6. Orders & order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we've received your order — it does not mean we've accepted it. We accept your order when we dispatch the item. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order (for example, due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues); if we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

7. Payment

We accept payment via PayPal and 2Checkout, which supports major credit and debit cards. By submitting payment, you confirm you're authorised to use the chosen payment method. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

8. Shipping, cancellations, returns & refunds

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Lace & Keys name, logo, text, graphics, images, and design — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of it without our prior written permission, except as needed to browse the Site and place an order for personal use.

10. Reviews & submissions

If you submit a review, photo, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce it in connection with our business. You confirm the content is yours to share and isn't unlawful, misleading, or offensive. We may remove any submission at our discretion.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, introducing malicious code, scraping data, or infringing the rights of others.

12. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and including a link doesn't imply our endorsement.

13. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Site's accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. This clause does not affect any product warranty we offer or your statutory rights (see section 16).

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lace & Keys will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (see section 16).

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lace & Keys and Zulu Eden from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

16. Your statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under laws that cannot lawfully be excluded, including:

• Australia — the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

• United Kingdom — the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

• Canada — applicable provincial/territorial consumer protection legislation.

• United States — applicable federal and state consumer protection laws.

Where these laws apply, they take precedence over any conflicting term in these Terms.

17. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [choose governing jurisdiction — e.g. the Republic of South Africa], without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence as set out in section 16. We'd always prefer to resolve any concern directly — please email store@laceandkeys.com first and we'll do our best to put things right.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Material changes take effect when posted, so please check back periodically.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and your purchases.
